2010年，新加坡管理学院（SIM）第一次通过星报奖学金基金(The Star Education Fund)这个平台，承诺了总额高达马币510,240的8个奖学金。此奖学金并不附带任何约束条件，开放给马来西亚籍的SPM、STPM、统考毕业生申请。SIM希望通过这个奖学金的承诺，让更多的马来西亚优秀学生有机会到国外深造，吸取国际经验，提高知识层面。SIM这次的参与，共收到了107份奖学金申请表格，而且申请学生都有非常优异的成绩。经过了一轮筛选和面试，有三个学生获得了SIM颁发的全额奖学金。SIM感谢星报让SIM有这个机会共同参与这项公益盛举，并衷心恭贺这三名同学。他们不约而同的选择在SIM修读15个月的企业管理大专文凭(Diploma in Management Studies)，以下是他们的得奖感言： 《继续阅读》……

Curtin Sarawak's state-of-the-art campus in Miri

Miri – 25 June 2010 – To help secondary school-leavers interested to pursue tertiary studies at Curtin University of Technology, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) get the information they need, Curtin Sarawak is holding ‘Curtin Information Day’ events in Bintulu, Sibu and Kuching between 26 and 29 June 2010.

Students can garner information on the university’s extensive range of pre-university and undergraduate courses – including an exciting range of double major combinations for business students – and how they can customise them to suit their needs, as well as English language pathways to help them meet Curtin’s academic and English language requirements, and more.

According to Pro Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Professor Ian Kerr, students enrolled at Curtin Sarawak get to experience a whole lot more, and they will graduate with a high-quality education and a most fulfilling learning experience. 《继续阅读》……

马来西亚自然协会（MNS）自然护理主任Fairul Izmal（左）从马来西亚劳瑞德首席执行员兼英迪教育集团副首席执行员Graham Doxey手上接过废纸回收出售所得的放大版支票，马来西亚美体小铺（The Body Shop）董事经理Datin Mina Foong则在旁作见证人。

据估计生产1,000公斤的报纸需砍伐24棵树。但在马来西亚学校学生的努力下，一个月内累计回收超过40,000公斤的废纸，使得近1,000棵树木幸免于链锯的吞噬。

英迪“2010 i-Challenge环境保护竞赛”是一项专为马来西亚全国中学生举办的一年一度盛事，而且深具意义。凡收集到1,000公斤纸张的学校队伍，就有资格进入决赛。为了达到遏制环境恶化的愿望，学生积极地“对纸张展开追逐”，以获得决赛参加资格。

英迪“2010 i-Challenge环境保护竞赛”筹委会主席朱君翰说：“废纸回收出售所得总计共达10,000令吉，并已悉数捐给马来西亚自然协会（MNS），以支持‘拯救柏隆－天猛莪（Belum-Temengor）森林’这项全国性运动。此外，英迪也展开全校签名活动，并已收集到数千名学生的签名。” 《继续阅读》……

Six students from Taylor’s College won partial scholarships while one received a full scholarship funding their undergraduate programmes at top Australian universities for the February 2010 academic year.

The students, graduates of the South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and the Cambridge A Level programme, applied with the assistance of Taylor’s Placement Centre and were awarded scholarships by The University of Melbourne, The University of Adelaide and Macquarie University, Sydney. 《继续阅读》……

Miri – 29 June, 2009 – 36 sixth formers of SMK Bandar Sarikei, Sarikei, made good use of their recent school holidays by paying a familiarisation visit to Curtin University of Technology, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak).

The students were received by staff of Curtin Sarawak’s Corporate Communications and Student Recruitment Departments, who later briefed them on various aspects of the university, Curtin University’s first international campus and the first foreign university campus to be established in East Malaysia.

汝来大学学院(Nilai UC)　走进知知港 为村民带来健康检查　宣扬彩带意识

（布特拉汝来24日讯）汝来大学学院(Nilai UC)于日前前往日拉务知知港新村为村民们带来众多健康检验；与此同时宣扬有关红、白、青及粉红各彩带所带来的意识。该活动于知知民众大会堂举办由联昌银行(CIMB)荣誉赞助，从早上10点开放给各村民至下午2点结束。

于Nilai UC修读护理学士课程的学生正向森州行政议员兼真纳区州立法议员拿督萧进平讲解有关青彩带器官捐赠的讯息。

该活动荣幸的获得了森美兰州行政议员兼真纳区州立法议员拿督萧进平的出席也身体力行的进行了各项健康检验。其中包括身高体重指数（BMI) 、血压及血糖测量。“健康检验无疑的为村民带来了极大的福利，Nilai UC及联昌银行(CIMB)的悉心安排灌输了村民极其重要的彩带意识，也为这里的小孩们带来了正面的影响力”拿督萧进平于当天活动发表到。并希望持续能够有类似的活动于当地举办。据了解，Nilai UC于目前为此是当地首次拥有大专院到访的大专。

当天活动均由Nilai UC,2及3年级的护理学士班的学生所带来。其中还有健康讲座会、儿童填色活动；都获得了及好的反应。尤其是当地的小朋友们都相当的活跃于发问及回答有关彩带的健康讲座会。 《继续阅读》……
