It was indeed a very proud day when Quest International University Perak (QUIP)’s medical students clinched 2nd placing at the Intervarsity Medical Quiz 2016 held at University Kebangsaan Malaysia, April 2016.
QIUP team members, consisting of Chung Ming Hong, Theena, Oh Jia Chi and Devaki, fought off steep challenge from other participating teams to emerge runner-up in this three-round competition. The final result was: UKM – champions, QIUP – 2nd placing and USIM – 3rd placing.
Mr. Nicholas Goh, QUIP Chief Operating Officer said that the university seeks to produce graduates who excel in their respective area of study. “We do not want to be another degree mill. We want our undergraduates to not only excel in their studies but also to participate actively in various conferences, sports and educational competitions during their study here,” he explained.
