Launch of The Swiss Touch in Landscape Architecture exhibition on the 19th of October 2015

The One Academy’s School of Interior Design is honoured to invite you to attend the Launch of “The Swiss Touch in Landscape Architecture” exhibition on the 19th of October 2015. This exhibition will feature Swiss architecture designs to demonstrate Switzerland’s prominent role in the evolution of landscape architecture.
Mr. Rolf Ott, acting ambassador of the Swiss Embassy, and Dr. Eric Leong, Head of The One Academy’s School of Interior Design, are invited to launch the event and share their expertise in the field of architecture. They will also be available for interviews.
The contents comprise of 36 panels (images and text) and 3 short films that display the perfect blend of formal beauty and surrounding ecology. Swiss architecture is a great balance between green space and city structure. Besides providing insight to the extreme richness and variety of Swiss landscape architecture, it also raises the discussion on the relevance of architecture and its role in the society. It is also initiated by Pro Helvetia, Swiss art council.
Lasting for 5 days (19th Oct – 23rd Oct), the interiors of the school block, with the help of Interior Architecture & Design students, will be transformed into extraordinary Swiss landscapes to emulate the atmospheric Switzerland.
This exhibition is held in conjunction with The One Academy’s annual Creative October which is a month of a multitude of events by the School of Interior Design to cultivate the public’s interest in the subject, and promote inspiration to students and admirers of architecture design.
