Kajang, 4 March 2011: Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC) and Oasis College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to establish collaborative efforts and long-term relationship in academic activities.
The auspicious signing ceremony of the MoU was held at KLIUC’s Cempaka Room in Kajang, Selangor. KLIUC was represented by its president, Prof Dr. Zulkifli b. Abdul Hamid while the Chairman of Oasis College, Tan Sri Dato’ Ng Teck Fong signed for Oasis College. The event was witnessed by the Managing Director of Kumpulan Ikram Sdn. Bhd., Dato’ Ir Chong Ket Pen, the CEO of Oasis College, Mr. Ng Yih Chen, KLIUC Vice President (Academic), Assoc. Prof. Christiantine Della, and other invited guests.
Under the MoU, eligible students who have successfully completed Foundation in Science at Oasis College may further their studies into the Engineering degree programmes at KLIUC.
“I believe, the MoU signed today will benefit both parties. Graduates from Oasis College may pursue their higher education and gain Engineering knowledge and expertise here.” said Prof Dr. Zulkifli b. Abdul Hamid, during the signing ceremony.
“With our strong industrial background and the commitment, we envisage this collaboration to stimulate the development for both Oasis College and KLIUC. We also see that it will encourage the nurturing of engineering talents in their education pathway in KLIUC.” he added.
Aside from Engineering, KLIUC also offers other programmes such as Architecture, Biotechnology, Business Administration, Accountancy, Information Technology (IT), Corporate Communication, Foundation Studies and many more.
The registration for the March/April intake is currently in progress. Applicants are advised to walk-in to the Marketing and Communications Department, Corporate Block, Unipark Suria, Jalan IKRAM-UNITEN, 43000 Kajang, Selangor.
